Vehicle Detail
Relisted due to non paying bidder. Your bid is a binding contract. Please send pics to your 356 guy to see if you have enough money to complete a restoration before your agree to purchase the car. If you think all that car will require is a little paint and bondo go bid something else. Rescued from a VW boneyard two weeks ago. Field fresh 1957 356 A. Vin#100444. Very rusty project for someone with great welding skills or pockets full of cash. Comes with a pair of B doors to include glass and mechanisms and exterior trim, also hood, and deck lid. A pair of A doors with frames, glass, and mechanisms, one door still has its door card and wind crank and door handle, and also an A deck lid, and an A hood,. Extra fuel tank, rear axles to drums, not sure if they are A or B. Front end is all there with steering box and master cylinder. Extra master cylinder. Misc interior trim parts, gas guage, clock, extra side windows, rear glass is good. Has the trans carrier, and a pair of early jacks, spare shift linkage. All center tunnel componets still with the car. No motor or trans. Rear spring plates all that remain in the rear. I have already listed some of the parts due to the fact that I HAD the car sold. Since I have incurred expense to list them if they don't sell you can have it all for the winning bid. I have taken the car through inspection with the state of MS and applied for title. I should have the title this week. I am selling at this point with a bill of sale with the intent to deliver title once I have it in hand. You could sell off what you don't need and be in a A tub for not a lot of money. Part it yourself, flip it again, garage art, or whatever. Not an unreasonable asking price considering what 356s have sold for here and the Samba. Samba has a 58 A for $29,500. that is way less complete than this car, A 58 A couple sold on ebay for $22,000. a little better sheet metal than this car but no motor or trans., There is an SC on E bay now for $8,000. with less parts than mine and this is an A. Make me an offer. I am a 10 year PCA member and long time ebayer. $1,000. deposit withing 48 hours after auction. Cash for remainder. Bring your trailer and a wad of cash. Don't bid unless you plan to take delivery of the car. Please come see the car and bring your 356 guy with you. More pics of any part of the car will gladly be sent to you upon request.
