It’s been said: “When a better car is built, Buick will build it.” There’s no doubt that this 42 year old survivor has stood the test of time very nicely.” I am listing this Buick for a friend of mine. Up for auction is an incredible 1972 Buick Skylark GS-350 equipped with the factory installed 4 speed manual transmission tucked away in a consolette (mini-console). You read it correctly--This is a 4-speed Buick GS-350. Just to give you an idea of how rare it is: According to the Buick registry, 5,896 Buick GS-350s were produced in 1972. Only 353 of those vehicles were equipped with 4-speeds. Some of those 4-speed vehicles were produced without the consolette, bench seat only. Take the time, like I did, to do some national research. Look at all those Buick GSs and GSXs on the market today. You will find that most of them have the horseshoe shifter between the bucket seats; thus the automatic transmission. This rust free Buick just received a fresh frame up restoration including: Stripped and refinished in the Buick original color Shadow Torquoise Base/Clear. All new wheels (Buick Rally 15x7).All new raised white letter tires.All new center caps, valve stems and lug nuts.All brakes are in excellent condition.The exhaust system (Flow Master) is in excellent condition and sounds great.The vinyl top has no cuts or discoloration of any kind.All the chrome, glass, weather-stripping, dash, gauges etc. are also in excellent condition. Complete set of sun gauges including tachometer. All of the high-performance goodies like the intake manifold, carburetor, headers etc. were purchased from TA Performance, Inc.
