For sale, by private owner: 1994 Porsche 968 Cabriolet with 6-Speed manual transmission, both rear seat configurations (2+2 / storage), and in very good condition. I'm the personal owner, and welcome calls and texts to my Google Voice number, (626) 219-0269.  We live in Marietta, GA, a suburb just north of Atlanta. The 968 currently has 73,612 miles on it (will increase slightly due to weekend use and test drives) and is in very good running and driving condition.  The title is clean, clear, and in my name.  I purchased it from the original owner and have the original window sticker as well as many records since new (pictured).  I have two master keys as well as the original Porsche wheel lock keys, all owner's manuals, and all accessories including all trunk tools, both top tools, tonneau cover (pictured), car cover, original donut spare, and original Porsche inflator kit.  I do not have the original radio, but the aftermarket CD player sounds good.  The tires are in good shape with more than 50% tread.  There are some areas of wear, outlined in the condition notes, below.  There are no warning lights or alerts and it has a passing emissions certificate that I'll include to the new owner.  I do not have to top off fluids and it does not leak fluid on the ground.  The AC blows cold, the heat blows hot, and the HVAC system vent positions and blower are responsive.  Yes, I would trust it in a drive across the country -- it is ready to go. Please note in the pictures that I show only the storage bin configuration for rear seats. The rear seat configuration is not shown, and is included in parts (seats + seat belts).  The rear seat parts are color-correct from a 944 convertible, and include seatbelts and mounting hardware.  The 968, to my knowledge, was not offered in the 2+2 convertible configuration. The convertible top is currently in manual mode, which allows it to be put up and down without turning the car all the way off per Porsche owner's manual procedure. (However, the power convertible top motors DO work.) The convertible top is newer than the car (originally grey, now black) and does not leak.  The rear window cleans up nicely and is mostly clear. The driver's seat bolster shows some expected wear from use, as does the shift knob.  Both are pictured. Terms Communication is key. The PayPal deposit is $200 and must be paid within 24 hours of the end of the auction.  The deposit amount is credited towards the total purchase price. If you fail to send a $200 deposit via PayPal within 24 hours I'll relist the vehicle and you'll lose your chance to win it. I won't accept PayPal payment other than the $200 deposit. The balance of the purchase price (minus the $200 deposit) is due within 14 days UNLESS you we work out an alternative timeline BEFORE THE  AUCTION ENDS.  I'm flexible; the more communication the better.  I give two weeks because if you're traveling to come pick up the vehicle that gives you a chance to get a cheap flight and schedule your trip time. If you pay a deposit but do not pay the balance within 14 days I'll relist the vehicle and you'll lose your chance to win it.  I'm flexible; the more communication the better. Please, no dealers or curbstoners.  I will not fill out a title with a purchase price of less than you paid.  I will be putting the buyer's name and purchase date on the title. It is OK if you're using a bank loan to purchase the vehicle; however, have funding and preapproval in place BEFORE bidding or making an offer.  Not being able to get a loan AFTER the auction ends is not a good excuse. If you're showing up in person we will be doing the sale transaction at my bank so that cash, check, or loan funds can be verified.  You will need to be around during bank business hours so please plan your trip accordingly. I'm happy to help with meeting the shipper(s) if you plan to have it shipped.  However, you are responsible for setting up and paying for shipping.  The balance must be paid in full before I release the vehicle to a shipper. I'm willing to deliver the car within the continental US to you for $0.50 / mile for distances over 50 miles.  The balance must be paid in full before I begin my trip. I will not negotiate after the auction. I'm not interested in trades.  This is a purchase-only auction. I do not provide financing. I'll provide the GA title and a standard, non-notarized bill of sale from the state of Georgia.  If your state requires additional documentation, such as a notarized bill of sale, please let me know and I'll provide it to you at no cost to you. The vehicle will come with a recent (within the last two weeks) passing emissions certificate.  If you're local and within the Georgia clean air zones you can use this for registration. I welcome local inspections before the auction ends.  I live within convenient driving distance of dealers and independent mechanics.  I can recommend one or you can find your own.  When searching use the cross streets of Lower Roswell Rd and Johnson Ferry Rd in Marietta, GA 30068.  You are responsible for any inspection costs to the local mechanic; however, there are no fees from me to drop the car off to have it checked out. Do not ASSUME any details about the vehicle.  If something is not listed or you have a question, don't be shy.  I welcome calls and texts! All vehicles are subject to local sale.  Until a deposit is received from the winning bidder it is subject to local sale, thus voiding the auction.  If a vehicle sells locally and eBay allows me to end the auction early, I'll do it.  Note that within the final 24 hours eBay does not allow an auction to end early; however, until a deposit is received it is still subject to local sale and the auction is void if it sells locally before a deposit is received.  Once a deposit is received it will no longer be for sale locally. If picking up the vehicle in person I'm happy to pick you up from the rental vehicle drop-off location, Atlanta airport, AmTrak station, or bus station.  There is no fee from me to do this.  I'll also make sure the vehicle has a full tank of gas, tires are properly inflated, the oil change is fresh, and it's ready for a driving trip back.  In other words, I'll treat you like a person and how I'd expect to be treated if I were buying a vehicle on eBay. I'm not a dealer.  I can't provide a temporary license tag.  My state of GA tag will stay with me in GA and is not included with the vehicle.  Please do your research to stay legal when driving back home, especially if through or across state lines as each state may have different rules.  I will provide you with the title and a bill of sale.
