FOR SALE: 1969 Ford Mustang Coupe! This car is a RESTO-MOD that was built with PRO-TOURING in mind. As you can see in the pics on the outside this car is all 69 Mustang except for the wheels. The body is very solid and has no major rust. A few small bubbles in the paint are all that exist. Body work and paint were done several years ago and could use a refresh but looks good from 10 feet. The floors and frame are rust free and appear to be original. Shock towers are rust free as well. Under this 69 skin lurks a wolf just waiting to be released!! The entire drivetrain in this car is from a 1999 Mustang Cobra!! this includes the 4.6 Liter dual overhead cam 32 valve engine, a T-45 5 speed transmission and the 99 Cobra rear independent suspension and differential. All of these parts have been installed using a bolt-in kit and required no hacking or cutting of the original frame or undercarriage except for the front shock towers which have been cut back and plated to allow for the engine to fit and a small notch in the rear frame rail to clear the Cobra gas tank. The rear suspension contains brand new coil-over shocks and new front coils and shocks have been installed as well as all new bushings and balljoints. Steering is controlled through the Cobra rack and pinion system. The engine, trans and rear end are all installed and ready for use. Also the Cobra disc brakes have been installed at all four wheels and work perfectly. To finish the look the 2005 17 inch Mustang GT wheels and tires have been installed all around. This is a car in project and needs someone to finish it up. The interior is all 69 Mustang with new carpet and a new headliner that needs to be installed. It will need new seat covers but all other interior parts are in decent shape and go with the car. This includes a nice dashtop with no cracks or warpage. The original 69 gauge cluster is included as well as the 99 Cobra gauge cluster. Most of the parts and pieces that are needed to complete this car are have been bagged and tagged and are included. It would make a great winter project or father son project and could be easily ready for cruising before the next season. THE HARD PART HAS ALREADY BEEN DONE!! The most significant things that this car needs to be drivable are the engine harness, exhaust system, fuel lines connected to the 99 Cobra gas tank, which is installed in place of the original gas tank, dash and gauge cluster installed and the driveshaft installed. The on-board computer has a fresh flash and is ready to be installed with a new harness. The engine harness is not included in this sale and would need to be purchased by the buyer. All original 69 wiring is still in this car and functional. All lights and accessories work.
