Cars2Charities will provide all California buyers with either a Smog Certificate at the cost of $58.25 (paid by the buyer) or a "certificate of non-compliance". Smog test will be done after vehicle is sold and determined that California buyer has purchased the vehicle. Please call after you purchase the vehicle to request the smog test be made. Vehicle info: THIS IS A 1999 VW PASSAT WAGON THAT WAS DONATED TO A LOCAL NON PROFIT. THE CAR IS WELL EQUIPPED AND IN GOOD CONDITION: 4 CYLINDER TURBO AUTOMATIC POWER WINDOWS POWER DOOR LOCKS TILT CRUISE MOONROOF ALLOY WHEELS ROOF RACK THE CAR IS IN GOOD CONDITION, IT RUNS AND DRIVES WELL. NO ISSUES WITH IT STARTING UP AND THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS WELL. THE A/C IS ICE COLD AND THE MOONROOF WORKS. THE TIRES ARE IN OK SHAPE, THE PAINT IS IN OVERALL GOOD SHAPE, BUT IT DOES HAVE THE DENT IN THE RIGHT FRONT FENDER (SEE PICTURES). THE INTERIOR IS IN GOOD SHAPE WITH NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR, THE MATERIAL ON THE DOOR PANELS NEEDS TO BE FIXED, IT IS COMING LOOSE. THE OVERALL SHAPE OF THE CAR IS GOOD AND IT WILL BE AN EXCELLENT DAILY DRIVER FOR SOMEONE. Deposit can be made using Paypal online. The balance of the winning bid and buyer fee will be paid at the time of pick up if you are local. All payments except the deposit will need to be certified funds only. This is: Cash, Cashiers check or money order. Delivery of your purchased vehicle: Vehicles must be picked up within 3 business days of your winning bid. If vehicle is not paid and picked up, a storage fee of $25 per day will be assessed on the purchase. If you are making transport arrangements with Cars 2 Charities, you will not be assessed a storage fee. Please call to make arrangements if you are having difficulty picking up the vehicle.
