Peugeot Speedfight race scooter This is a pretty neat scooter. It began as a french made Peugeot Speedfight 2-stroke scooter. The original plastic panels were removed or replaced giving it it's unique stripped down look. It's also got a really interesting monoshock front end. Comfy room for one or 2 riders.This this is LOADED with upgrades too.120cc Polini overbore cylinder kit, 28mm Mikuni TM Carburetor & matching intake, Overdrive Malossi variator and transmission (also comes w/ new malossi drive belt), PM Tuning performance exhaust pipe, Upgraded Paoli suspension front & rear.it's fast, 65-70, probably more with lighter variator weights and a new belt installed. and as long as no one catches you going that fast you can probably still pretend it's 50cc... Mag wheels w/ excellent disk brakes make it easy to get 60 to zero quickly tooDownsides, it can be hard to start - it's battery start only and sometimes needs a shot of starter fluid to get going. It uses alot of gas, probably only gets 20mpg. It is missing most of the original plastics, though the new headlight & fairing work, the speedo and gas gauges work, taillight and brakelight work. It's got a new battery, box and switch set. Much is loosely held on, it's pretty haggard, but functional and fast. Much cheaper than the sum of it's parts.
