Vehicle Detail

Thank you for looking at my ad. I am selling my personal 1968 Chevy camaro lemans blue exterior paint with blue interior car. She is a project I took on with my dad and had a great time doing it. I am the clear title owner and I am not in a pinch to sell her. I am making space for a new project I am completing with my dad. The car will be available for inspection upon appointment, just give me a call 661-212-5162. I am not interested in any trade for this car. The project started out with a purchase of what was claimed to be a one owner car, which I can not prove or disprove. She was an original 327 with a power glide trans, two piston front disk brakes and A/C.I have photos of the entire restoration project from purchase to completion as well as nearly all the receipts. I started out by dismantling the car and sending it out to bead blast. Unfortunately it got stuck there for nearly a year but it did eventually made it to paint and body (Alexanders Customs). In the mean time I sent out the sub-frame, radiator support, springs ect to powder coating. Again we were delayed as she spent another year in paint jail but we tinkered away on what we could as we waited. I had the motor rebuilt (original motor to my knowledge) by a professional builder and we mounted it to the sub-frame along with the suspension and front end parts. When the body arrived we united the sub-frame with the body on polly bushings and new bolts. We originally installed a 400 turbo trans but a couple months after the build had a professional transmission shop build and install a 700R4 trans which is fantastic. We installed a new "American Auto Wire" full wire kit throughout. I purchased and installed a pretty cool radio set up where the display looks and operates as an original unit but has new FM set up and a port and plug for external equipment input (phone/itouch ect). I had a local shop install an amp for the radio and an alarm as well. It comes with two alarm remotes. I had the original A/C unit rebuilt and updated to the new freon rules. The A/C works of the original controls. I kept the original interior look and had the seats re-covered and the headliner installed at a local professional interior shop. I kept the original date stamped belts along with shoulder belts. The dash has been kept original and all displays work (fuel, speed, blinkers ect). I was even able to re-use the original steering wheel which feels amazing in your hands with some 40+ years of prior driving years on it. The car looks fantastic and drives great. I am 40+ years old and I am super responsible. I newer raced or beat this car up in any way. I am only looking to make some room in the garage as I almost never drive the car. I have a business vehicle so I do not use the vehicle for my daily drive. I tried to cover what I thought was the main info but keep it simple. If you have any questions please feel free to call (661-212-5162) or text or email questions. This is not an RS or SS model. The vehicle is for sale locally, I reserve the right to sell and end auction early.
