Original 1955 Cadillac Fleetwood series 60 sedan. All original but the interior, someone put in early 70's seats and steering column before I got it. I had the seats reupholstered, door panels made and I re-carpeted the car with OE style molded carpet. I painted the floor before laying down the insulation and carpet. The car is freshly painted with John Deere Blitz black and it has a silver metal flake top with heavy clear coat. The engine is the original 331 cid V-8 with a new fuel pump, fuel filter, oil and filter, battery, voltage regulator, ignition coil, carb overhaul, fuel tank cleaned and sealed with a new fuel sending unit. New master cylinder, brake lines, wheel bearings and u-joints. New mufflers and new exhaust run all the way from the manifolds to the tips. It runs, sounds and drives great with the original 3 speed automatic transmission. I installed a new speedo cable and it works but the speedometer assy needs to be rebuilt as does the clock. The fuel and temp gauges both work. The lights all work. New Kenwood stereo and Infinity 6x9's on the rear deck and door speakers. All new door glass and door felts and working power windows in front and working vent windows with cranks (I bought motors for the rear but need to be installed). I acquired all the original interior door handles and window switches but couldn't decide whether to go with poppers instead. All that is left to do is hook up the interior door handles if you want them (or poppers) then install the new door panels (I have installed the rear). The radial tires are in excellent condition on chrome steelies with baby moons and a brand new spare tire. I also painted and re-carpeted the trunk. I flipped the shackles in the rear to lower the car a little bit and it also has adjustable air shocks to raise or lower it in the rear. Original headliner in good condition. The air conditioner system is all there it just needs to be serviced and I have the original clear plastic ducts. Wipers not working (original vacuum style), I have been using Rain-x with no problem, I have the original glass reservoir. I also have the front brass emblem/badge but the plastic is gone. This car turns heads wherever it goes. I have been driving it and working on it for several years. The car was in Atlanta, GA for the past 10 years and it had very little rust before paint. Clear CO title. Vehicle is also for sale locally.
