1974 Jeep CJ5 -- You are buying the cleanest 1974 Jeep CJ-5 in CNY! Factory 304 Cu In, 3 spd, Dana 44 Rear and Dana 30 Front, Differentials -- There is more money in high performance, high quality, after-market parts on/in this Jeep than it cost when purchased new from the dealer off the lot! 31 X 11.5 tires are older but in excellent condition, no dry rot and tread is conservatively 75% remaining -- Transmission has race SFI Bell Housing installed. In regards to the Engine: Modifications done include, but are not limited to; 1. Pre-emissions early Edlebrock 2. Holley 4-Barrel Vaccuum Secondary 3. Accel High Performance Distributor, Coil, and Wires 4. Electric fuel pump with Fuel pressure gauge mounted to the firewall 5. dual remote oil filter set up on inner fender 6. Without disassembling to verify, the engine certainly seems to have a modified camshaft 7. Engine compartment is extremely clean, as the rest of the Jeep is as well 8. No leaks of any kind THIS IS LOUD AND A HEAD TURNER EVERYWHERE IT GOES!!! In regards to the Chassis: The Jeep has obviously been lifted, not sure if it's a 3" or 4" Lift, but it's rock solid and cruises, somewhat smoothly given it's a CJ-5 afterall, down the highway at 80mph at 3300 rpms, even with the 3 spd! Body is in excellent condition as you can see in the pictures, if you don't know, black is the worst color to hide defects and that is not a problem as there aren't any on this Jeep! Full, Like New, Soft Top, Including doors. Complete Bikini Top and Half Doors. Both are Bestop Brand and like new. Also, Cibie High Power Driving Lights on Front Brush Guard. Factory Black Paint with Renegade Pinstripes -- though obviously there have been some additions to the paint, as seen on the hood, and as was popular in the 70's & 80's it has had the Chevy taillight conversion done, which makes them much less apt to be broken, or otherwise knocked off. Interior / Exterior: 1. Seats: Aftermarket race style seats with Simpson Lap Belts 2. In addition to the Factory Gauges, there is: a. Mallory Tachometer b. Vacuum Gauge c. Fuel Pressure Gauge (as mentioned above, in engine compartment) d. Amp Meter Gauge 3. Body and Frame are in excellent condition inside and out, did have spray-on bedliner type coating applied, which is just beginning to flake a bit now. This Jeep was garage kept from 1997 until just ten months ago and has only been gently driven since and no issues have arisen. The person that had all the work done on this Jeep certainly paid extreme attention to detail as all modifications seem to be professionally and properly done, no shade tree mechanic worked on this Jeep! (If so, it was the best one ever, that's for sure.)
