Vehicle Detail
THE PICS I TOOK WERE TAKEN BEFORE I HAD TO SELL IT, I WAS SHOWING IT OFF TO A FRIEND AND HAD THE PICS ON PC SOME REASON THE PICS I TOOK FOR AUCTION, I CAN NOT UPLOAD FOR SOME REASON, AND IT WILL NOT LET ME POST ON EBAY MOTORS USING MY CELL PHONE. REASON I HAVE ADDED THIS INFRONT IS I DO NOT HAVE ANY CLOSE UPS OF ANY FLAWS. SO PLEASE, AFTER READING THE BELOW DESCRIPTION YOU WANT PICS OF ANY FLAWS MENTIONED JUST MESSAGE ME AND I WILL SEND PICS VIA EBAY MESSENGER.THANKS, I HAVE BEEN WORKING ON THIS ADD ALL NIGHT, SO IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS VIEWING PICS OR INFORMATION, I APPOLOGIZE AND LET ME KNOW I CAN COMMUNICATE WHATEVER IT MAY BE. ANOTHER NOTE ABOUT MOTOR, THIS IS OUT OF LINE OF EVERYTHING AND ADDED A NOTE BUT JUST NOT ENOUGH TO DESCRIBE IT. THIS MOTOR IS WORTH SOME CASH, IT HAS INSANE POWER, IF ADDED SOME FULL LENGTH HEADER AND ELECTRIC FAN, AND POSITRAK,PUT AUTOMATIC TRANS IN WITH ABOUT A 2600 STALL CONVERTER AND THE RIGHT TIRE, I BET IT WOULD PICK THE FRONT END OFF OR COME DARN CLOSE. AS WE WERE TWEAKING THE TIMING AFTER ADDING SOLID STATE IGNITION PERTRONIX (REPLACES OLD POINT SYSTEM WITH A LOT HOTTER FIRING AT PLUG), THE TIRES WOULD TURN TO EASILY. WHEN DROVE RIGHT IT SET YOU BACK IN YOUR SEAT AND KEPT YOU THERE INTO THIRD, EVEN SHIFTING INTO SECOND YOU HAD TO BE CAREFUL BECAUSE THE TIRES WOULD BREAK LOOSE (OR TIRE) WITH POSI AND A GOOD DRIVER THIS THING COULD EASILY HIT THE STRIP. I NEVER WOULD HAVE THOUGHT THESE OLDER CARS COULD PRODUCE THIS MUCH POWER. THOUGHT THAT WAS 60'S STUFF. THE CAR IS A BLAST, AND EVEN THOUGH YOU MAY NOT GO AROUND USING THE POWER, ITS DEFINATELY NICE KNOWING ITS THERE. AND IF THE MOTOR HAS NO INFLUENCE ON THE CARS VALUE TO YOU, AT END OF AUCTION I WOULD BE WILLING TO TAKE OFF $2,000.00 AND I KEEP MOTOR, YOU PULL IT IS ALL OR HELP. I HAVE BAD SHOULDER. OR I HIRE SOMEONE TO DO IT FOR 300 AND ITS DONE BEFORE YOU PICK IT UP AND I KNOCK OFF 1,700.00 INSTEAD. JUST AN EXTRA OPTION. I NEED THE MONEY BUT I WOULD HAVE MORE THAN ENOUGH AFTER AUCTION STILL, I THINK IT HAS A FORD 9" REAR END ALSO. . ive had a line of people stopping in front of my house and coming into my yard to admire this car. taking pictures or knocking at my door asking if it was for sale. i should have taken numbers, but never thought i would sell it. life happens and i just sold all my music and PA equipment to try and catch up on bills, was just not enough, and would like some breathing room. im currently on workmans comp and this short explanation is stated so you know my reason for selling it. the car runs very very strong, the more we did to it, tuning it, updating ignition, the more it shocked me how strong this motor is. it was rebuilt from an old mechanic whom i purchased it from. he bought it 30 years ago from a little old lady, for he and his little old lady to drive around on sundays. he was up there in age and said he only had it out a few times last year and he was just getting to the age it was hard to get around and that is why he sold it. whats crazy is i have the very first, original title that was issued for the car. it was obviously washed and kept up. the motor compartement is clean and looks like new even up under the fenderwells. it is as clean as a brand new car. it can not have a more solid and clean frame, its not even rust colored but black with a dust covering. it is not a museum piece, it isn't perfect, but not at all bad either. except for the trans, needs synchronizers i was told, i do not know. everyone, way before the manual trans messed up, it still drives in 2nd and 3rd, but anyway everyone before that happened was telling me to put an automatic in it. idk i kind of like shifting the three on the tree but it up to you. its a ford big block so you should have many options. the pics show the car ten feet away, where it has the perfect paint job, up close it isn't perfect but good. the kind of paint you do not have to worry about if someone comes up and leans against it. but looks bad azz ten feet away, so in my eyes the perfect paint. the amazing thing to me is still how solid it is, no rust, just on the exhaust tips someone put on. interionr is 9 out of ten. i also have an appraisal from a state certified classic car appraiser. in its score on condition or condition summary it is between VERY GOOD and FINE shape, meaning the car is a little better than very good. i have the papers, i have two liscence plates on it with a 1958 Georgia plate on the outside. good til june of next year. i was going to reregister it and keep the Georgia plate on it. the doors open and shut sooooo easily and latch right up, amazing how heavy the doors are and the are tight and glide open and shut and latch with ease. the outer door handles are pitted, but the rest of the trim is in great shape. headliner is nice clean and tight, think it is original interior and headliner, im not sure though. the felts around the door windows need replaced, and driver door glass is cracked. all cheap easy materials and labor if you hire it out.perfect car to customize being its as solid of a car as you can get. or drive it the way it is, which most will do and i only say perfect to customize because i see some pretty fancy custom cars that are way nicer than all original, and to put money into going that far with a project, well, you want to start with a super solid car as this. please, if you need to, i can send more pics via messaging, i only know how to load the first 12 pics on auction page. just message me with your number or what you may want pics of and i will gladly send you some and answer any questions the best i can.
