Vehicle Detail
I purchased this BMW K75 Sport about two years ago for the purpose of easing my commute into the city. As luck would have it, I was transfered to a more car friendly suburb the week after buying it. It has sat in my garage unused since that time. I originally intended to sell it last May, but in trying to get it started I was told that I drew bad gasoline into the engine. (It does not start or run now.) I'm sure the battery is also dead. After taking it out for photos last Spring a neighborhood child climbed onto it and tipped it over, so it now has broken front and back turnsignals on the left side. There are also some minor faring cracks present from the previous owner that I did not notice when I bought it. The paint is original and shows weathering from being outside. I really don't know much about motorcycles, but I do know that this bike has the ABS brakes and a custom low seat for shorter riders. The bike comes with keys, clear title, and the original BMW cover & battery conditioner. This BMW K75 Sport can be viewed/inspected in Bellerose, NY 11426 prior to bidding. It will be the responsibility of the buyer to make arrangements to transport it or get it running after purchase. I will do my best to answer any questions. Good luck with your bidding. Added: For those who have been asking about the chips and crack on the farings I have added pictures. There is a scuff on the plastic under the motor, like the bike was ridden off a curb or loaded into a truck. It looks like the pressure from that incident caused a crack on the right side plastic under the engine block. It is about 2' x 2' and is only full depth separation when pressed for about an inch. There are other chips that look like they were made by tools. I included close-ups, because they aren't too noticeable in the regular pics. Since I took the bike out of the garage again I found some parts that I will include. I purchased an original seat, and the plastic pieces that had to be removed when the low Corbin seat was installed. There are also some new emblems that I was going to have replaced when I had these pieces of trim painted to match. Once again, for serious bidders, the bike can be viewed/inspected prior to bidding in Bellerose, NY. I am not interested in ending the auction early for anyone. Good Luck.
