Engine is very strong. · 4-4 original exhaust. · New Paint – tank and side panels where professionally prepped and painted. · New top end rebuild. Professionally machined. New valves, pistons deglazed w/ new rings. New gaskets all the way around. · New seals and rebuild on forks. · Tires are in great shape. · New master cylinder and brake caliper rebuild. · New clutch and throttle cables. · New chain. · Carbs rebuilt, use air pod filters, Original air box was missing. · New electronic ignition and Dyna coil. Great looking chrome all the way around. · Regular maintenance and garaged. · Clear title and both keys. Not so good things: · Still weeps a very small amount of oil on left side oil channel. I have changed the gaskets twice but I still get a little bit. Does not leak on ground, but I will use a rag to wipe engine fins every once in awhile. · Hard to start when cold. I usually put it in the sun for a while and it starts right up. Once it runs, it starts immediately every time after that. · Starter button is not original. Could not find replacement for original so wired in a new starter button. (see pictures). · Exhaust on right side has two small holes in pipes. The pipes still look great and I like the sound so never did much about it. Also the top right pipe appears to have had the rivets drilled out of the end by someone in past(pics). · The badge for left side panel is missing. It can be found on Ebay for $40-50, but I have not gotten it yet. Small paint chip in left side panel (pics) · I think the four carbs need to be synched again. I have had so much fun rebuilding this bike and I ride it at least once a week. My son is going to need a starter car soon so need to switch projects to that.
