1963 Corvette Convertible Triple Black - NO RESERVE. I hate to part with my 1963 Triple Black Corvette Convertible, but I hope it goes to a good home. I purchased it from a Nevada car collector 7 years ago and has had it in California since. He had previously restored the Stingray, and installed a Chevy ZZ4 crate engine, competition radiator and vintage air (because he was in Nevada). I haven't used the air but I don't think it's working. He also added electronic ignition, headers, and custom wheels. The engine performs and sound amazing. Since I've had it, I had a custom Vette shop add power rack and pinion steering, and power front disc brakes. It's truly a joy to drive compared to one with older PS & PB, let alone one without them. I don't know how old the 4 speed is, but it shifts great, sometimes a little tricky putting it into R, but always goes goes if you put it in first before. I also upgraded the carb to an Edelbrock 4 bbl with automatic choke. I'm selling because we remodeled our house and I had to move the Vette to my warehouse, and I haven't been able to drive it much anymore! The car is available for inspection in the San Diego area (Carlsbad). I reserve the right to end the auction early as the car is also for sale locally. Do not bid unless you have a history on Ebay. On Sep-07-14 at 14:56:20 PDT, seller added the following information: I was asked about the convertible top, so I put it up and added a picture of it. Note that I usually don't have the top up, so it's wrinkled and that will probably come out if it's left up and with some vinyl conditioner. Also note that there is 1.5" split in the bottom right rear corner of the top, you can see it in the far right of the picture where the sun line on the top is. I don't think that was available back then. but it looks like was a Ebay default display on specs.
