Vehicle Detail
UP FOR BID: 1964 Honda 305 Dream. This bike has been completely taken apart and re-furbished, as required. The engine and transmission components have all been inspected and in very good condition with all new seals and gaskets, plus the top end has been rebuilt with new pistons, rings, timing chain, and the valves lapped. The carburetor has been rebuilt with new air filter and connecting tube. The engine case has "CB Transmission" stamped above the engine number. I believe second and third gears are somewhat different ratios between the Dream and the CB77 but in riding it, the gears seem to work fine. The mufflers are new stainless steel reproduction units made in Australia. The wheels have new bearings, the stock rims re-chromed and the tires are Carlisle brand made in the USA. They are several years old but have no cracks and only about 150 miles on them. The gas tank has been sealed, the petcock rebuilt, and has new plastic badges. The right hand chrome tank panel has a very small dimple and some light scuff marks. The polished aluminum covers, wheel hubs, rear fender supports, etc. have been re-buffed. Most of the chrome parts have been re-plated. New parts: Battery (correct early size), cables, mirrors, levers, seat cover, rear chain, coil (new Emgo brand), points, plugs, condenser. The speedometer has been refurbished. The bike had 6632 miles on it when taken apart and has been ridden 111 miles since restoration. The paint is Dupont acrylic enamel. The color is 1972 Chevrolet Red (more orange than red). There are two small holes in the frame (body) in front of the right hand side cover (see 5th picture). Also, the exhaust looks like a gold color in several pictures, but that they are re-chromed and stainless steel as seen in the other pictures. The foot peg, side stand, center stand and their brackets have been powder coated black. The engine number is: CA77E 104248 and the frame number is: CA78 104267. I have a clear title. Shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer. $500.00 deposit, paid through PayPal, required within 48 hours of auction end and balance due within 7 days thereafter. Balance may be paid by bank check, personal check, cash in person, or money order. Bike won't be released until check used clears the bank. Thanks for looking.
