A piece of history! An 1100cc beast! Up for auction is my beloved '83 GS1100E. All it needs is a rider. Fires up on the first push. Many extras. To start I am selling this because I am travelling international for the next year or more and do not want her to sit in storage, she needs to be ridden. I've replaced nearly everything on this so it's basically a new motorcycle. Starting with the charging system - new regulator, stator, battery, and wiring to fix the classic Suzuki charging issues. Has fired up every time for the past two years since, even in winter. I use stock Suzuki parts where possible, down to the washer and bolts. The things that aren't stock are the Progressive springs and shocks, the air pods, the Yoshimura exhaust (rare and $300 alone), and the super loud horn b/c the zuki ones weren't enough for NYC traffic. I've replace the heavy chain with a newer 530 with new sprockets, geared to the same as stock. I wash and wax it once a week - original paint that looks good for being an '88, only slight fading on top. New grips, new badges, plate puller, recent tires with tons of tread left, valve adjustment last season, new valve head gasket, oil change seasonally, NGK performance plugs, no oil leaks!, no oil burns. I ride this almost daily so mileage will increase. she loves to be ridden and really starts to pur after about 30 miles. Sounds amazing! I dont want to sell but as I mentioned it's better someone get to ride her instead of lost in a garage somewhere rotting away.
