here i have my volkswagon jetta project/commuter car. it started with vws great auto trans going bad november of last year. i searched till i found an 01 jetta wolfsburg edition donor car and did a 5 speed trans swap. the swap went fine and been driving car since with no issues. as you might see from pics the inspection was due in february. the reason it is still not inspected is have not had time to finish the following, hook up speedo, reflash or swap ecu ,cluster and chip in key. so can not cancel engine light. perhaps somebody with software can do for themselves. abs light is on from pulling calipers off for swap as someone told me. airbag light ? asr light because no more auto trans or tcm. other things include clucth saftey switch, key start have on star button, and cruise control. im sure any vw head or mechanic can spend a weekend and have fixed.. i have all or most parts a believe to finish job. also i would like to include all spare parts in pics. doors,trunk lid,spare tires,k frame, and all parts on floor. it seems like a bit much but dont have time or room anymore.im sure what you dont use you can sell for profit. please be aware that the car is not perfect by all means but can make somebody great commute car or for project possibly bump it up a little and go make some tire smoke. bbs rims could be in better shape but can always have them redone or powder coated and have good tires with 80%tread. paint is in good condition with the exception of some clear coat peel on hood before sunroof pass side rear next to trunk a few chips and no grill do to deer incounter. what is not in pics are complete engine and under hood hareness trunk lid,driver side rear door no pass side doors, k frame with struts,axles,steering rack, and spindles, rotors and calipers. i think that is it but please ask any questions.
