Vehicle Detail

I am selling my 1984 Honda CB700SC Nighthawk S. It is in beautiful condition. My dad bought it brand new and I bought it from him back in 2001. It has been pampered it's entire life (always stored in a garage and has rarely seen rain) and had regular maintenance. I have a record of all work performed on it as well as the service manual. It has approximately 19,431 miles, but looks close to new. All of the paint and decals are original and the decals are not cracked or faded. I have taken it to "Vintage Days" at mid Ohio and it attracts a lot of attention for how clean it is. The tires have decent tread, but the side walls have some cracking, which shouldn't cause any issues, but that is up to you. The paint is beautiful and not faded, but there is a small ding in the top of the gas tank and a small scratch on the front left side of the tank. I tried to capture it in the pictures. The gas tank is rust free on the inside and the headers and mufflers still look good. The bike runs great and is very reliable. The forks were rebuilt by Avon Honda a number of years ago. They also cleaned and synced the carburetors at the same time. The bike is completely stock, except for I removed the reflector/light assembly on the rear of it. I still have it and it is included with the bike, but I didn't like the looks of it. It also has an aftermarket KG rack on the back that is a rare find. It also will come with a back rest that bolts to that rack. It does have a tiny oil lead that is coming from somewhere by the gear shifter. It only seems to drip after the bike is ridden and then sits in the garage and it is only a little spot. I haven't had the time to investigate it further, but there are a lot of oil lines in that area, so I'm assuming that one of the crush washers needs to be changed. The only other thing is that there is a little black cap missing from the back of the left mirror. It doesn't have any actual function, but I wanted to mention it. I bought a new set of aftermarket mirrors, but didn't put them on yet. They will come with the bike also. Please let me know if you have any questions or want me to take additional pictures. You will have a hard time finding a cleaner, original unmolested bike than this one! Thank you for looking! This motorcycle is also for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early.
