In May of this year my current truck, a '94 Toyota Pickup, had broken down. I thought it was down hard (coolant in oil), so I started looking for a new Toyota Pickup. I found this 1993 Toyota that I'm listing out in California. My buddy checked it out for me and when he approved I had it shipped to Buffalo, NY. While I waited for it to get delivered, I found out that these trucks are notorious for having the timing chain cover get worn through by the timing chain, which causes the coolant to get into the oil. Therefore, I just replaced the timing cover on my '94 and it was good to go. Since I only need one truck, and my '94 has already seen a Buffalo winter, I'm selling this California truck while its still rust free and nice. You can see my '94 in the rear of some of the pics. Its obviously not included with this listing, either is the Triumph motorcycle. This truck is a 1993 Toyota Pickup 4x4 with a 22RE 4 cylinder engine. This truck has 159,712 miles. The engine is spotless, there's not even one leak (see pics). The frame and under carriage is rust free (see pics). The interior is very nice for its age, maybe a small stain here or there, but very nice. The truck rides like a dream, way better than my '94. The guy who had this truck was OCD, only used the Toyota approved fluids and meticulously took care of it. He and his uncle, who worked for Toyota, changed out the timing chain and cover around 125,000 miles and when they dropped the oil pan they figured they might as well change the main bearings too. I personally didn't think that was possible, but I guess his uncle had a way of doing it. Either way this engine runs and idles like it should. Now the few minor flaws that my buddy didn't see and I'm going to point out because I'm not a money hungry dick. This truck has been repainted at some point in the past. They did a great job, the body looks really good, no scratches. However, in the driver side door jamb there's a small rust bubble and right by the front windshield on the passenger side there's another one (see pictures). These are very small and the only one you can really see is the one by the windshield, which could probably be taken care of. The rest of the body looks great with absolutely no rust. The rear bumper has some pitting and light rust on the chrome (see pics), this is only by the hitch and the rest of the bumper looks good. The front bumper has some very light pitting (see pics), so light that most people wouldn't even notice it. The front left also has a rub from maybe a cone or something (see pic). The dash light for the heater needs to be replaced. The rear quarter panel on the driver side there's two small dings (see pics) these are barely noticeable and the paint isn't chipped or anything. The bed liner needs a scrubbing, I just rinsed it out. The pics are from evening and during the day with direct sunlight shining on the truck so you can see the true colors. I'm expecting to take a loss on this truck, it is what it is. I set the reserve for $1500 less than what I paid for it with shipping. I can hold onto it for weeks, but not months.
