This auction is for a fairly rare 1940 Chevrolet 3 Door Sedan Delivery. The truck is a project that has all the original parts carefully bagged and label with drawings and assembly instructions in each bag. the body itself is in good condition with a little rust damage that has been neutralized, but still needs repair mostly along the back edge and one rear inner fender well. The floor are sound with a little repair need in the extreme front corners.The firewall, roof fender, hood ect are very sound, very nice, many of the metal parts like the inner fender well in the engine compartment and other bracket have been cleaned and painted or they are new. There are duplicate and triplcates of some parts. There are the original fastener and new fasteners as well and new Radiator made in USA by Mc Cord corporation.All the new door seals, welting in window wiskers and window seals are here include a new wiring harness. Besides all the original parts the is a very nice original Fulton 800 Sun Visor. Original NOS headlamps still in boxes complete with original wiring ( I put them on for the photos) There are nice straight bumpers front and rear with bumperettes. It comes with the original motor that needs rebuilding and the original transmission and differential it also comes with a completely rebuilt 1969 4 bolt main Chevrolet 350 engine and completely rebuilt differential from a 1969 Chevrolet C10 pickup with all new brakes and cables. The original seats are present and need recovering, but they are individual bucket type seats with a curved back, neat seats black vinyl the cotton is showing through on the bottoms. The front end has already been rebuilt with new bearing kingpins brakes ect. There are so many parts I have probably missed some so if you would like any photos I will be glad to send them. The running boards have been refurbished with new rubber coating so are like new. The car will be sold with a bill of sale.
