Engine turns freely, clutch lever operates smoothly, and amazingly the brakes function (many times they are locked up from sitting). The condition of the bike is such that very little needs replacement, the metal and cosmetic items are very solid and can be refinished. Based on what we saw, the following items need to be replaced:Mufflers - reproduction parts available on eBay for $60 eachFoot peg rubber - available from several sources as reproduction partsPoints and condenser - available on eBay and a number of other sourcesSpark plugs - available everywhereCables - available on eBay and other sourcesTires and tubes - available from many sourcesBattery - available from many sourcesTank badges if doing a full restoration - reproduction parts available Fully restored a CB160 Sport will sell between $2500 and $3200 depending on the color, overall restoration quality, and of course what it means to the buyer. This model was designed with a very durable engine and could be ridden as a daily rider once running or kept as an investment bike. Prices continue to rise for 1960s and 1970s vintage bikes.
