Rare working 1981 Comuta car. I had to list it on ebay as a 1980 because it did not recognize the vin. All parts work and has current PA state inspection. I bought this car about 5 yrs ago when it was professionally rebuilt including updated electronic controllers and a new battery pack. It has worked fine since then with ocassional breakdowns due to the usual meltdowns of these type of vehicles that were easily repaired. The most recent was a battery terminal melt that was easily repaired. The area I live in has too many hills for this vehicle. The small 12volt accessory battery may need replacement. I just recharge it when I recharge the car. Includes complete repair manuals including some rare original manuals and ads. The advertised mileage for this car was 40 miles per charge. I was lucky if I got 20 miles in my neighborhood. It does go 40mph. Rare chance to get a working Comuta car. Some project cars may cost less but will end up costing more in time, energy and money to get working. This was professionally rebuilt with excellent quality. Everything is installed the way it is supposed to be, no jury rigging here. It is ready for the road. Please ask any question before bidding.
