I need to sell this car out of necessity I have been unemployed for a long time and need to pay the bills. This car has spent the majority of the last nine years sitting still so the paint is not in good shape as you can see from the pictures. Also seen in the pictures is the front rims; in 2005 the front rims needed to be preplaced because they were damaged from a huge pothole. They came from a different manufacture than the originals; unfortunately the chrome on the front wheels is peeling off. Also related to the wheels the tires in the rear need to be replaced and the front tires have about 80% threads left on them. The car was originally from Portland, Oregon and the company that delivered the car to Houston broke the key in the ignition. The piece was too small to savage so the key and tumbler is different from the door locks and the trunk lock, I never got around to making all locks match. If you are planning to race the car around I recommend replacing or rebuilding the transmission as it is the same as the factory transmission. The factory World Class T5 transmission rating (280 lb-ft of torque) is not suitable for what the engine is pushing (345 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque). If you decide to replace the transmission more suited for this vehicle on the cheap, Astroperformance makes a T5 transmission called the T5 ‘Z Spec’ which is capable of handling 350 lb-ft of torque and 450 hp at a reasonable price (about $1,600). In the end I want this car to go to a good home, so if you are looking for potential small project car that primarily needs cosmetic repairs and upgrades then this is the Cobra for you.
