This is an awesome Jeep with 4 1/2" total lift: 2 1/2" suspension lift and Old man Emu shocks with an additional 2" body lift which allows use of the XL 33" x 13.5" Super Swamper tires, yet still maintains driveability. 4.2L torquey straight 6 engine with 5 speed manual transmission, Runs great on road and off road! Can run 65mph with Super Swampers but the hum is deafening and a bit bouncy, recommend swapping out to radial tires if using as a daily driver on the highway. Offering a set of 5 Goodyear Wrangler 29" tires mounted on the stock Jeep wheels if you pay the Buy it Now price of $3,499 or more. Selling tire set for $200 separately. Has been re-geared to 4:10 so it can easily handle the larger tires and can crawl over most anything. Manual locker in the front, so can be fully locked or unlocked when driving on hard surface or being towed. Tow mounts and tow bar included so that you can haul behind your vehicle to the trail or beach. I also include the magnetic tow lights and wiring that plugs into a standard 4 plug harness with the Jeep, so you are legal to tow anywhere. Of course, you can also just drive it there because it is street legal. Custom, heavy duty steel bumpers front and rear. Custom rock sliders welded to the frame. New heavy duty gas tank skid installed last year. All gauges work except clock. Warm heat in winter. Shifts smoothly with no grinding. Clutch in good shape. 1987 model year so it is an antique in Virginia: No annual inspections and permanent tag! Upgraded Motorcraft carburetor for smooth running even on steep hills. 33" x 13 1/2" wide Super Swampers in good condition with plenty of tread. These tires will roll over anything. Has half doors with soft upper windows that zip open. This Jeep has been a rock crawler and been driven on lots of trails, so paint is scratched as shown in the photos and has a few dents and dings, but nothing major. No frame damage. Including an uninstalled engine skid plate with purchase of vehicle. Also, if you "buy it now," I will include several other BONUS items I have listed separately on Craigslist: The high lift jack and vehicle cover as shown in the photos and a used NP231 21 spline input transfer case. Why the transfer case? The one on the Jeep is a fully functional NP207, it has no problems and works great. I got the NP231 so that I could lift the Jeep 2 more inches so that I could install 35" tires (never did this). If lifting further, the jeep will require a slip yoke eliminator (SYE) which is very hard to find for the NP207 but very common for the NP231, so I purchased an NP231. This will be included as well if the $3,499 price is met! I will also include a set of used axles (3, used the passenger side).
