1971 HONDA CB500 FOURThis bike was a project that I bought to start last year, but I have too many similar projects and I'm sizing down. This one has to go!This is a project bike for someone looking to build something cool, or someone looking to have someone else build them something cool! Not a lot of these out there anymore for a good price. The bike was running when it was parked about 8 months ago. The top end of the engine was rebuilt: heads completely rebuilt, resurfaced, new valve guides, new piston rings, and gaskets, carbs rebuilt. I have pictures of all of this so you can see what all went down here.There are a lot of extra stock and aftermarket parts that come with it. Some of the new parts on the bike: Brand new NOS forks, New MAC 4-1 exhaust, clip ons, R/L switches, slim turn signals, pods, etc. I also have most of the original parts in boxes if you want to use them or sell them, as well as other extra hard to find bits and pieces: original signals, gauges, extra set of carbs, 2 extra gas tanks, original set of front forks, several stators, and more!Note: Gas tank on the bike was sanded down last year when I was working on it (pictured), but has been sitting and currently has surface rust (also pictured) which is easily removed with a light sand.Sad to see it go, but this will make someone a pretty cool machine!
