Absolutely beautiful Scotty with a strong 350 Chevy and 700R4 overdrive transmission. Starts, runs drives and stops awesome. Dual fuel tanks both operational with the electric switch on the dash. The truck started life as a diesel (yayNOsmog!!) and was babied all her life with a camper shell protecting the bed. Registered as a camper truck with no weight fees due at California registration time. I still have the fiberglass topper and will include it if you like. The inside of the bed and the bed rails are near mint. This is a California truck and has very little evidence of rust ANYWHERE. Still wearing ALL original paint and never wrecked. There is a small dent in the bed on the drivers side and another small dent on the passenger front fender which I have pictured. All glass is original. There is a very small round chip in the front windshield located on the top passenger side. Motor and transmission were both rebuilt 3000 miles ago with quality parts. Tranny was performance built and the engine built for mileage with a mild cam, Edelbrock aluminum intake and valve covers with matching air cleaner, Headers and dual exhaust. Carb. is a built Rochester. Rear end is the heavier 12 bolt not a 10 and I believe the ratio is around 3.07 as this thing flies on the freeway. With the gas 350 in it set up this way I am getting a solid 15+ mpg and awesome performance. This is not the first Chevy I have built. I am an a.s.e. certified master tech. with over 30 years on the job experience and know what is involved with rehabbing a vehicle for dependability. From the heavy cast aluminum air cleaner to the $200 gear reduction starter, quality parts have been used thru out. Here is a list of just some of the new parts used on this truck... Engine..New Pistons, rings, bearings, cam, lifters, oil pump, valves and springs. New fuel pump. Carburetor rebuilt. New motor mounts. New $200 gear reduction starter. New Alternator. New A.C. compressor. AC blows ice cold!! Newer one piece serpentine belt drive for all accessories. New belt. New Hoses thru out. New fluids as well. Transmission... Performance clutch discs, 1900 rpm stall converter and shift kit, full line pressure modification to throttle valve. (Keeps the transmission healthy even if the tv cable is adjusted incorrectly) Balanced driveline with new u joints. New front wheel bearings. New rotors. New front brake pads. New master cylinder. Light weight Boyd Codington billet aluminum wheels wrapped with Cooper Cobra 255/70r15 tires. Tires have approximately 70% tread left. They came from another truck I own. New carpet kit. Leather dash. New leather map pockets for the door panels. Kenwood old school cassette player with line out and switched power already ran under the new carpet for an external power amplifier. The 12 gauge wire for amp power is also already ran so adding an amp is easy. There are factory rear speaker mounts with pioneer speakers already installed behind the seat. Custom wood on aluminum door panel trim pieces that BOLT to the door panels with real fasteners instead of plastic clips that always break! Vehicle will sell here on ebay and is NOT for sale locally so you can be assured the successful winning bidder will drive this truck home. That said I strongly recommend a visit to inspect and drive. The set is extremely nice and I will include, along with a few other extras I have for the truck. I did not put it on the truck because the back of the cab really should be painted first as the camper boot has buffed the paint off right where this trim piece runs.
