If you appreciate metal over plastic and original custom work over store bought add-ons, this brushed aluminum classic is for you. The handlebars are high enough and seat is padded enough to be comfortable for long rides, not just something to look at. The bike is ready to ride and/or show off at meets and shows, but there's more you can easily do to personalize the bike to your taste and needs. I finished it in April of this year just in time to have it invited for display at Austin's Handbuilt Motorcycle Show. It has been displayed at other events (here in Waco, TX) but now needs to be sacrificed to make room for another motorcycle project. It is a head turner that runs and sounds great, not too loud with a great intake roar from the velocity stacks. Everything works on it including the original side opening, locking seat latch. Fuel tank, seat pan, side covers & fly screen were all made from hand formed aluminum that could be polished to a chrome-like finish if you prefer. Rivet accents are done with solid aluminum aircraft rivets (I build airplanes, too). New parts include tires, tubes, Renthal handlebars, Progressive shocks, turn signals, fork seals, velocity stacks, headlight, bar end mirror & stainless steel mufflers. If I could keep the bike myself, I would make the final touch new aluminum rims & stainless spokes from Buchanan's for styling and to replace the chromed steel originals which are showing a little age with minor chrome "patina." This is a no reserve auction with a low starting price. I will not end the auction early. There is no "buy it now" price. I've put about 300 miles on it and it looks & runs great but there is no warranty. You are on your own with shipping, but I'll be happy to help load it up. Customers have gotten excellent service with very reasonable prices from U-ship (through ebay). This bike has a clear title in my name.
