Vehicle Detail

1970 Dodge Coronet 'Super Bee' 2 door hardtop ~ This is a 77k original mile unrestored 70 Coronet model 440 car, factory B5 Blue with B5 Blue interior, with original matching numbers 5.2 liter V8 engine, Torqueflight automatic, 2:71 gears in rear. It has a factory Super Bee hood on it, and a NOS fender on the drivers side, all other panels are factory. Looks good in pictures, but car has rust/ bondo, and is a 44 year old, unrestored car. You can drive it around like your Joe Dirt (duel exhaust with flowmasters sound great when cruising around town) and enjoy the car while you fix it up, or do a restoration on it ~ Lights work (even the trunk light, dash/ dome lights, glove box light), wipers work, heater works, radio works... Speedo works, gas gauge does not, a Tri-Guage setup was added under the dash to watch other stats on the car, but it has yet to be hooked up. A Sun Pro Super-Tuner tachometer was installed on dash (used Velcro so I didn't have to drill into original dash) and it works good. I added a NICE KENWOOD CD/MP3 player with remote under the dash (nicely done) and new Pioneer 6.9 3-way component speakers in the back (great for cranking up the FLOYD) ~ Original AM radio still in dash and untouched as well. Car still has factory carpet (factory blue, dirty from years of peoples shoes/ feet), headliner (nice original shape), visors (also nice), ect... Factory Air Conditioning car, and its all there, but it stopped blowing cold air for some reason years ago, never checked into it, always cruise with windows down anyway... Factory AC cars are NICE because they automatically come with the big 26" radiator out of the factory, and all the AC vents are already built into the car, so it would be easy to get the AC blowing cold again in this car. This car also has factory power steering & power brakes, both work great. I have lots of receipts & paperwork for this car, including the new battery it was with a 2-year replacement warranty. Also comes with original owners manual for the car, and owners manual for the stereo system. Truck is solid with original mat, floors look solid too. The torque boxes are rusted, and the rear frame rails are getting soft. The quarter panels have rust and have bondo, new quarters would be needed for a restoration, or at least half quarters. Typical rust for any 44 year old Midwest car. Good news is, they make everything this car needs brand new, meaning you can turn this car back into like new again. In the trunk there is the factory full size painted spare, and factory jack setup (complete). Upgraded the suspension with new shocks on both front and back, and fully-adjustable A-Arms up front. Car runs & drives good, it is mechanically sound, does have an oil drip, and sometimes coolant drips down from outside of heater core on firewall. All fluids are good, car fires right up and runs good, sounds good, shifts good thru all the gears. All windows go up and down as they should. There is a crack in the front windshield, all glass is original with Chrysler penstars on them. I have pointed out everything I can think about this car, I am an honest guy, check my flawless feedback. Car has a set of 15" Torque-Thrust II wheels all around, the left rear wheel has a dent on the edge of the rim. Car does have a little vibration when cruising around 70 mph on the highway, tires probably need to be balanced to fix that. You can drive this car home, or you can tow it home with a trailer, or you can have a shipper pick it up and bring it to you, its up to you. I have a clean Missouri title. I have pictures of the car when I first bought it around 8 years ago, it was a survivor car with only 1 repaint over the outside of the car... It was in a small fender bender around 4 years ago, that's why it has a different color hood and an unpainted NOS fender on drivers side, and no grills anymore. Car looks real mean driving down the street, gets lots of looks and fans... This is a cool MOPAR muscle car that doesn't cost $40k+, so the common working man can afford/ enjoy it. My family has gotten into camping now that the kids are old enough, and I am selling my car to secure funds to buy a camper, so no trades please. Terms of Sale: $500 deposit due within 24 hours after auctions end (PayPal is best) ~ Remaining balance due within 7 days after auctions end. I will store the car in my garage for up to 30 days after auctions end, if it is not picked up by then, I will move it to the driveway till it can be picked up. I can work with a shipper of your choice, to meet and safely load the car up for transport, if needed. Car also runs/ drives good and can be driven home fine, though towing it home for a longer trip with a trailer is always the smartest bet (for that just-in-case factor). Be sure to email me with any questions, or for more pictures, like of the underside of the car. Mopar to Ya!
