This bike was sold earlier this summer, and the Buyer backed out. He never came to see the bike, so it was not a condition issue. Others have told me that the condition of the bike is not indicative of the mileage on the odometer, the title, or my recollection. I will give you what I know and let you make the decision if this is a motorcycle you want to own. I bought this at Clinton Cycles (Clinton, MD) in 2006. The title lists the mileage as 666. I am not weary of religious numbers, so the devil was not a concern for me. If other commenters are correct, on how the odometer reads, I think it should have read as 6,660. I rode the bike very occasionally from 2006 through 2011, and then stored it in my garage since then. I did not put very many miles on the motorcycle, less than 1000. The odometer currently reads 7221. Since the speedometer does not work, i am not sure if the odometer is working properly. Others in comments stated it would. It was not ridden or started while in storage for the last three years, but it was under cover and had a battery conditioner attached. I got the motorcycle out recently, and put some in some new gas and some starter fluid, and voila she still runs. I rode her a few miles to the gas station for some 93 octane and back without incident. There were comments on the previous listing that the motorcycle looks like it has higher miles than the odometer. I am at least the second owner and I can only verify what happened in my ownership. I did no upgrades or real modifications. I only added a few cosmetic items. The motorcycle runs, stops, and functions as a motorcycle. The tires look good, but they did sit for 3 years. A previous owner did the upgraded two brother exhaust. It has a deep resonance that I like much more than the usual sport bike sound. There are little dings and such as should be expected on a bike this old. The Bad: The speedometer does not work. The right mirror go broken while in storage in my garage. While in storage for the last 3 years it leaked about ½ qt of oil. I topped this off, but there is a slow drip. This is the stater cover gasket. I had bought a new gasket and never installed. The new gasket will come with the bike. I would change it before sale, but i am not a mechanic, and sometimes other things go wrong when i take them apart for repair. I would hate to strip some threads or something right before trying to sell the bike. I guess some others are concerned that it may be something else leaking. I can assure you that the engine is not cracked!!!! There are a few fairing clips and screws missing. Please look at all pictures before bidding. This is being sold as is, where is. $300 deposit through paypal, and I will only accept a cashier’s check, money order, or cash upon pick up for the remainder of the balance. It is up to you to figure out temporary tags or transportation if you need it. The current tags will stay with me!! Comes as is!!!!
