Gorgeous 2WD 1985 Ramcharger Royal SE 360 (5.9) V8 with nearly new interior and many new parts. Runs and drives excellent, absolutely no Rust. Just passed emissions 8/8/14 R12 Air Conditioning, Automatic, Power Windows, DVD/CD in dash, cab lights. Since May 2012: New carpet, custom fit velour seat covers, headliner, interior panels, insulation, subwoofer and amp, dash cover (no cracks underneath). Professionally rebuilt Rochester Quadrajet Carb, charcoal evap canisters, vacuum hoses routed to factory diagram, fuel lines, rear main seal, oil pan gasket, water pump, power steering pump and lines, coolant hoses, window motor and switch, battery, alternator, starter relay, voltage regulator, coil, plugs and plug wires, valve cover gaskets, transmission fluid and filter, ball joints, tie rod ends, center link, coil springs, shocks, control arm bushings, suspension bushings, calipers, brake pads, wheels and tires, etc. Paint is good with a few minor scratches and dime sized dings here and there. Tread on front tires is great, rear outside edges have wear due to late rotation from the fronts. Needs window switch bezel fabricated for non-factory passenger window switch. New switch and motor work great. ***While motor is strong and runs great, it leaks oil at the rear of the engine. It has had this leak since before I purchased it in May 2012 and has never affected the reliability. There is no smoke from the exhaust pipe or the headers, smoke will be present when oil contacts the exhaust crossover pipe at freeway speeds and prolonged idles. Minimized significantly if wiped down regularly. The valve cover gaskets, oil pan gasket, and rear main seal have been changed. That leaves the cam plug as the most likely culprit. Must add oil monthly if driven on regular basis. Used K&N oil filters and QS 5W-30. Vehicle is priced appropriately for leak. There is no odometer discrepancy. Autocheck often messes up with older vehicles. The mileage is consistent with all DMV records and reports. The odometer is a 5 digit so it is technically beyond mechanical limits. Arizona DMV correctly entered that note and Autocheck flags It incorrectly. Very enjoyable rig to drive and it looks great. I have no hesitation driving it on daily basis or on long trips. Just bought a sixth car and have two frame-off restorations underway. Have to part with one vehicle and I hate to do that. Hope it goes to someone who will take care of it meticulously.
