If you are in search of a decent 1979 chevrolet corvette w/ bronze tinted mirror t- tops to drive as is or restore for a good price, here it is!!! I'm the 3rd owner. Between me and the 2nd owner we had it for about 16yrs- always garaged. I put aprox 250 miles on it in the 7 1/2 or so years that I've owned it. the engine is not original- changed out by the 1st owner- I don't know why. At that time they removed the ac and never re- installed it, but I do have all the brackets for it as well as the old compressor. the rr gears have been changed and are low, which makes for poor gas mileage and no top end, but plenty of low end. I was going to change the gears for better mileage and drive while I got the parts I needed to restore it, but with growing family obligations I need to sell it. The chassis is solid,, clean no rot or repairs. t-tops don,t leak as far as I know. All the new parts have less than 500 miles on them and include- gas tank, frt & rear coil/ leaf springs, vaccum tank for the headlamp doors( which work as they should), 2 rear axle shafts/ bearings, all rubber control arm bushings front and rear, all balljoints, power steering control valve, 1 steering hose, rr caliper, and I beleive the tierods are new also. it has a pioneer super tuner am/fm/cd player. I also have new in the box - oyster white seat upolstery for both seat, black center arm rest and a complete set of interior screws. the tires all have about 3/4 of the tread left on them. i also have extra center cap for the rims and anything else that I have will go with it. It is not currently registered and the inspection ran out 4/14. I have an old registration that will be needed for you to register it, being a 1979 no title should be needed in most states. A duplicate title has been applied for and should be in my possession in approx 1-2 wks.
