If you are looking for a sleek, very cool, reliable “Black Shadow” look no more. One of the few surviving original 1946 Roadmasters I have a file of 17,000.00 in receipts from the previous 86 year old owner. From rebuilt radio, rebuilt speedometer, gauges, lights, dual heating system, everything works. The exception is the crazy clock that creates its own time. We have a beautiful replacement that goes with the car. I recently drove the car 3507 trouble free miles (exception a squirt gun leak in a heater hose) along Route 66 and back to Oregon. Once I returned I had our mechanics go through the car stem to stern. General safety check, oil leaks, transmission, clutch, valve adjustment, lube, oil, filter. Another 3400.00 invested in this rare original beauty. Pay careful attention to the photos. If you’re looking for a show winning car “Black Shadow” is not for you. The chrome is original, the paint is seasoned with some minor surface spots, the Buick has its own language of hums and air flow. As you can see from the photos the car has no rust beyond surface paint and is in amazing condition for an original car. Always garaged and always loved.
