Inside, this Trans Am has the gorgeous red interior that is exceptionally clean! The seats, carpet, and dash are in excellent shape! The sport seats in this GTA have power adjustable side bolsters that hold you in place and keep you comfortable while driving! The rear seats in this car look to have never been used! Some Gave All" This script is airbrushed on the underside of the rear wrap-around spoiler which honors all members of the military. This picture is a close up of the rear bumper cover where there is a small nick in the corner of the bumper. The paint and body are so clean on this car and this blemish in the year bumper is so minor that most people wouldn't think twice about it! This Trans Am has the special 3-spoke "GTA" racing style steering wheel which is very hard to find! Even the rear hatch struts are in great shape and work properly! The rear hatch carpet is in excellent shape and gives you plenty of cargo room. This Trans Am GTA has the very cool "Digital Dash" which was an option that was only available in '87 and '88! The Trans Am GTA was Pontiac's pride and joy so it was filled with special options that really pushed the technology level foward in cars! The car has a center mounted odometer with trip data and other car data plus it even has an on-board diagnostic system check that will report any problems or concens with the vehicle. Of course all systems check out with this car! This car has the WS6 Performance Suspension Package that was part of the GTA trim which included larger sway bars which reduce body roll when cornering and specially tuned shocks to give the car better handling than the standard Firebird or Camaro! The dash on this car is perfect! Many of these cars that are well kept will still have large cracks or warping present in the dash but this dash doesn't have any of that! Mounted in the overhead console is a removable "Firebird" flash light! These are VERY rare to find still in the car. This picture shows a crack in the interior trim panel on the passenger side door. This is so minor and it is not even visible in the front seat when the door is closed but we still wanted to disclose this to you! Most cars that are 5+ years old have more interior wear than this Trans Am! Here's a look at the GTA Gold Diamond Spoke Wheels. They look amazing! Not only is this a beautiful example of a low mileage Trans Am GTA but it also has several amazing murals including 5 fighter jets on the hood flying in a V-Formation! They are airbrushed on the car in sort of a ghost-mural that looks so good! The pictures just can not do the car justice! The driver's side door shows the Marines raising the flag at Iwo Jima and United States Navy "USS Wisconsin" (BB-64) Battleship in action! The passenger side door displays the US Navy Seals in action! "Ready to Lead, Ready to Follow. Never Quit" On the top side of the rear spoiler is a larger United States Marines tribute! The car will come with the original window sticker which has been lamenated to protect it! We have for sale an absolutely amazing 1987 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am GTA Coupe that looks and runs perfect! This is a one-of-a-kind show car that only has 66,788 original miles on it. These cars are becoming nearly impossible to find in such pristine, original condition! This Trans Am GTA was the top of the line car for Pontiac in ’87 and this car has special ghost painted tribute murals to our Armed Forces! The car pays tribute to the US Navy and Marines with subtle airbrushed scenes on the door panels, hood and rear spoiler! This car gets a lot of compliments and a lot of looks. This Trans Am is a lot of fun to drive. It looks and sounds incredible and since it has the WS6 Performance Suspension Package, it handles great too. Under the hood it has the 5.7L 350 cubic inch tuned port injection V8 engine which starts and runs great. This V8 is just a slightly different version of the V8 engine that came in the Corvette of this era and it puts the performance of this Trans Am right on par with Chevy’s flagship sports car! This GTA is in incredible shape. The paint and body of the car are immaculate and the interior looks and feels like it did when it left the showroom! The color of the car is called “Flame Red Metallic” which is a beautiful color and the car has gold colored diamond spoke wheels with a polished lip that were specific to the GTA which are also in perfect shape! There is no doubt the previous owner loved this car! The interior of this car is equally impressive as the exterior in condition and style! This car has the Carmine Red and Black interior that is amazing. The seats and carpet are in excellent shape and the dash is PERFECT as are all the radio controls and accessories. The driver's seat bolster is just slightly softened from getting in and out of the car but this is so minor that most people wouldn't even notice. The power antenna still works every time which shows the level of care this car has received! Everything on the interior is original including the radio and head unit as well as the dash mounted leather “GTA” embroidered glove box and there is even a removable “Trans Am” flashlight from the overhead console! One of the very cool and unique features to the car is the high-tech digital dash! It has a digital read out speedometer and digital gauges for the RPM, Oil Pressure, Water Temp and Battery Voltage! The center dash also has an on-board vehicle diagnostic system to ensure all systems are running 100% and functional. Since the Trans Am GTA is Pontiac’s top of the line car it came with a number of fantastic options that makes driving it so enjoyable! It has a full list of power options like power windows, power locks and power mirrors which are great convenience options.
