1978 PONTIAC TRANS AM. PURCHASED NEW IN NORTH CAROLINA IN 1978 and driven just over 7000 Miles before the owner disassembled and put in storage planning to convert to race car. Engine was professionally rebuilt by race engine builder and re installed in car but never cranked. Fortunately all the original parts were retained. We acquired the car last year and painstakingly returned everything to original condition. The engine had to be rebuilt after sitting all those years and has been completely rebuilt using mostly Edelbrock parts. Output is estimated at double factory at this time. A 1979 rear axle has been installed to allow 4 wheel disc brakes. Brand new tires on honeycomb wheels. Virtually a new car. All paint original. All sales are final and professional or personal inspection is not only welcome but encouraged but once auction has ended you bought the car. Sold as is, where is, how is with no guarantees or warranties either expressed or implied. Descriptions are made to the best of our knowledge. All original documentation comes with the car including 1978 original title and window sticker and owners certification of mileage. Owner still lives locally and can/will verify history upon request.
