This auction is listed as "free shipping" what this means is that I handle all the shipping arrangements with the carrier of my choice in lower 48 United States. I sold this bike a week or more ago and the buyer dropped of the face of the earth so it is being relisted. Please don't screw me over like that and I promise I will be fair in business with you as well! Find the video at: VIDEO or search "Jake Smith 1979 Honda CB 750 at Lake George" on you tube.I have been riding it around town a little and probably have about 50 "shake down" miles on it now. *The carbs have been completely rebuilt with all new components and also synced. *It has a fresh oil and filter change. *The battery is brand new. *The gas tank and ignition switch use the same stock key. *The bars are billet clip-ons. *Newly re-furbished starter clutch and advance unit. *The rear sets are ninja foot controls with custom fabricated mounts and linkages.*Minnesota registration is current and paid through February 2015.Not a whole lot came off the shelf for this one! I hand fabricated the gas tank, brackets, tail light, tail section, foot mounts, battery box (hidden under tail), and just about everything else that looks custom. The tail section is leather and polished stainless steel, all of which I made by hand. The seat is surprisingly comfortable for a cafe racer! I used the expensive polyethylene foam in the seat and it was worth it. The wiring is using stock plugs so if you ever want to add signals or put gauges back on it should be straight forward. I will send you the original owners manual, the tool kit, and the original speedometer (none of which are attached to the bike any longer). The speedo shows the actual miles except about 50 so it should work fine for registration purposes if your state requires that. The bike is being sold as is and even though it is freshly done it is still a 35 year old motorcycle so know that you are likely to encounter maintenance and repair beyond what you would expect from buying a bike off the showroom floor. That said I AM HAVING NO ISSUES WITH THE BIKE, IT RUNS GREAT. I will consider a partial trade for a basket case shovelhead or 92 or later sportster with a title but you need to work that out with me before bidding, or be prepared to pay full price. A little about me. I have spent the last 11 years as a custom motorcycle builder. I was the head mechanic at Exile Cycles and also had my own shop, Ultra Violence, in North Hollywood for several years. My work has been featured in numerous international and domestic magazines (see photo), I have appeared as a build team member on five of Discovery Channel's Biker Build Off episodes (four with Exile, and one with Evil Spirit Eng.), I was one of the shop experts for season one of Speed Channel's Build or Bust and my work has been featured in several galleries and art shows. I closed my shop in 2012 to complete my college education in Minnesota. You are buying this from a private seller. However, I am a professional bike builder and I work at a shop building and repairing motorcycles.My girlfriend and I just had our first child so I am definitely a motivated seller, feel free to ask questions or make an offer.
