Nice running and Driving Classic 1973 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia. Within the past 6 months the car has: New fuel tank, new fuel lines, new fuel pump, new carb. new distributor (electronic) New plugs and wires, new TIRES, and a complete tune up. The car runs like a sewing machine and can be driven reliably ANYWHERE. Clear title in my name. The car looks very nice and drives solid. brake pedal is hard and safe. everything seems to work, except the gas gauge (I think I screwed this up putting in the new fuel tank) and the radio, maybe (haven't tried the radio?) Top is very nice and should last for many more years and is weather tight. The car has some rust issues along the rocker panels and around the rear wheel arches, both sides. It is not awful, and the car is structurely solid and safe. The floors and floor pans are very solid and the front trunk and nose has no rust issues. Odometer shows around 8k miles so this has certainly rolled over. Interior is decent but showing its age. no rips in the seats or any upholstery. The Dash top has cracks from the sun. The engine dribbles a few drops of oil. This would make a great running and driving project... Or the car can be driven and enjoyed as is. The car is for sale locally AS IS, WHERE IS. I can assist with a shipping company... But the buyer must make all arrangements etc. All proper forms of payment are OK. I live an hour or so SouthWest of Chicago. you are welcome to come and inspect the car. Please do not waste my time
