Vehicle Detail

Hello! Here is a very BEAUTIFUL, well maintained CLASSIC 1984 Ford E-150 Econoline Club Wagon. Yes, I do say classic because it DOES qualify for getting those plates, if you so choose. This van has a very wonderful story that goes along with it. It is custom made with the pea-green carpeted interior and wooden cup holding table attached to the dash. It was previously owned by a couple who only drove it in the summer to Montana and back. It has always been stored indoors and has NEVER seen winter! I believe the couple has since passed. This was a vehicle that had state park passes stuck to its windows and clearly was loved and thoroughly enjoyed. The man I bought it from said he had driven it to North Dakota a few times and it was in great condition. Well, he lied. It had deteriorated in its 30 years of life and I was who made it young again. I started by scrubbing off the rust spots - they were skin deep and easy to remove. What has been fixed and replaced in the van goes as follows: · New battery · New cables to battery - both red and black · New starter · New starter solenoid · New wiring to starter, starter solenoid, and battery · New air filter - replaced the whole compartment, which wasn't getting enough air in it, backing up the oil into it, with an awesome filtration system that makes the van SO much quieter now! · New spark plugs and wires · New distributor cap and rotor · Cleaned the carburetor · New fuel filter · Oil change and oil filter · Flushed the coolant · Flushed the transmission · New alternator belt · New power steering belt · New smog pump belt · New T.F.I. module (will have the old one with, just in case - it still works) · Recharged the AC - had the R-12 Freon removed and put in R-134a - so cold now, it's great! · New muffler and exhaust pipe · All lights, new · Vehicle rewired · New drive line - it's a three piece so three joints replaced and the drive shaft balanced · Newer tires; balanced a week ago (I had the balance done, the previous owner bought the tires) · Newer brake pads (previous owner had the brake pads replaced) · Original stereo replaced with a $160 Pioneer MP3/CD player. It's so wonderful! Has Bluetooth, can customize your lighting on it, can make phone calls and text messages hands free and has a remote to control it all! Original stereo will be coming with in case you want the vehicle back to original settings · Several fuses replaced and corrosion cleaned off The ONLY thing that needs fixed on it is the gas gauge. I believe there is more than likely a crack in the float inside the tank - when it reads 3/4ths full it's really full, 1/2 full = 3/4ths, and so on. It hasn't been an issue to keep track of the amount of gas; when it gets empty I fill it regardless. After all the work and clean up done, this Econoline gets about 18 miles to the gallon AND it has TWO fuel tanks so if you want to fill up less you can use both! I personally have not because it was extra weight, but I have had the tanks checked by a certified mechanic and have been told the second one is perfectly operational. The greatness that all comes with the van includes: · LOW LOW LOW MILES!!!!! Only 86,028 miles! · Has never EVER seen winter driving! · It’s really big inside! I moved the entirety of a 950sq. foot 2 bedroom apartment inside. Just removed all the seats in back and fit everything in! This was truly unexpected – only had to make one trip! · TWO GAS TANKS! · Half ton and can tow! Towing package included, all hooked up and ready to go! · Will come with a cargo carrier. Currently in a 2 inch hitch, but comes with the 1 ½ inch as well. Carrier can hold up to 500lbs. Valued at $75. · New Pioneer stereo with Bluetooth, hands free calling, and remote valued at $160 · Has electrical plug-ins! Just plug it in via the outside and you can plug practically anything in on the inside. I had a Colman electrical cooler, computer, phone charger, window fan, and coffee pot all plugged in at the same time and it didn’t hesitate. All because I had much of the van rewired! · There is a drain plug behind the back bench. Good for if you’re looking to add plumbing to this too! · It comes with a table with cup holders that can either sit between the front and middle seats or middle and back bench. – Part of the customization of the vehicle. · ALL seats can be easily removed. ALL Captain’s chairs can turn 360 degrees. Back bench is lightweight and can fold down into a twin sized bed. I have slept on this and it IS COMFORTABLE! · Comes with a portable heater that can screw underneath either of the middle seats and be plugged into the van. Also comes with portable fan that plugs into the cigarette lighter (yes, it HAS a cigarette lighter!) · Will also come with a memory foam cushion to sit on. It’s a big tall van and I am only 5’2”. For the most part I can drive this without the cushion, but when the sun is going down I am too short for the visor to be of use so I have to sit on the cushion. Valued at $20. · There is a ladder on the back door to get to the roof – very easily accessible and the roof and ladder will hold your weight, trust me! There is also a FULL sized spare tire. · The side doors and back doors can easily be unhinged by simply pulling out the pin to expand the doors further open. · Tilt steering wheel, cruise control, air conditioning, kill switch underneath the dash, and you press a button on the floor to turn the high beams on! · Very, very, very little rust. All cosmetic and the majority that was there have been easily scrubbed off. There’s a spot on the spare tire cover and the back door that are larger, but nothing else major. · Because of all that I have restored, renewed, fixed, and replaced this E-150 is safe, reliable, dependable, and a blast to drive! This van is from a non-smoker, but I have had my dog in it. It's been vacuumed and shampooed. It exterior has been washed and waxed and I intend on doing that again before letting her go. There is also a lien on the vehicle, that was to finance fixing her up, and you will have nothing to worry about on that - I intend on paying the loan back after selling. So please don't fret! She has been inspected by over 10 mechanics to insure that any work I did myself and the work of others were done thoroughly and correctly. I have put in over $1,580 into getting her up and running properly and have every single receipt. She has been all over Minnesota, all over South Dakota, and I recently returned from a camping trip to Yellowstone National Park so she was able to make it over the Rocky Mountains and back without problems. Unless you want to fix the gas gauge there is NOTHING ELSE THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE to her! How often do you find that in an old vehicle?! This van is beastly, beautiful, and runs like a champ! It's been a chore to replace all that has been replaced, but fun and a great learning opportunity all at the same time! And now it runs so great and is so much fun to drive! I would love to keep her, but I’ve fallen on hard times and need the money. She is priced to sell – I will not be getting back all that I put into her. The bank has retailed this 1984 Ford E-150, with 86,026 miles on it, NOT including all the parts that have been put into it, at $6,500. We’re located outside of Bigfork, Minnesota on Kelly Lake. You are more than welcome to come over and have a look and take her out for a spin. She is being put up for the whole nation to see so for those who are bidding from far away, while I would prefer for you to come out and pick her up (can even make arrangements to meet you at the airport – we’ll talk more when that time comes), I am willing to SHIP her, but you will be paying the shipping and handling fees. She is great to drive, fun to camp in, if you’re coming from far away I’ll chip in an extension cord so you can plug in and have electricity, why not take this as an opportunity to not only get a new vehicle, but go on a road trip as well. That’s what she was made for!! I will accept Paypal ONLY for payment. ALL of the total cost must be given to me BEFORE receiving the vehicle. ALL SALES ARE FINAL; THERE WILL BE NO EXCHANGES OR REFUNDS. Feel free to contact me for any more information, if you want more pictures, or want to come out and see her up close. Thank you very much and happy shopping!! **I want to address the problem in the Auto Report. I too am just now seeing there was an odometer problem at one point. As far as I can tell in my research, the miles on the vehicle are correct and have not been rolled back. From the information I was given it wasn't an everyday driver, but for vacations during the summer only. If I have been given the wrong information, I am sorry, but I can promise you I have fixed this van back into shape. The vast majority of it is bran new and major things like the transmission, carburetor, radiator, and fuel pump are running strong and show no signs of needing to be replaced or fixed any time soon. Please do not be discouraged from bidding - this really and truly is a great-driving vehicle. Thank you. **
