I am selling this very rare 1959 Hillman Minx Convertible for an elderly friend of mine who purchased it in Alabama in 1979. It still has the 1979 Alabama registration and the 1979 Alabama license plate from the last time it was driven. He brought it to Cincinnati in 1979 and drove it into his garage with the plans of restoring it. Well, that was the last time it was started. Time went on and it sat there till now. It is a very solid, straight, 40,730 mile, car that deserves restoring. It does have rust in the floor and a dent in the left front fender. It also has surface rust on the body as shown in the pictures. All the glass is original and in excellent condition. The car is 99% complete and in need of someone to put it back on the road. This is truly a rare find and a great investment. The owner is selling this car without reserve as he feels this is the only fair way to sell a car at auction.
