This is a 1971 Honda 50 Mini Trail Z50a. This is a shed find, not a barn find. I bought this bike this week from an estate sale, couldn't pass it up. The owners family told me that the bike has been in the shed for at least 30 years. This bike will need to be totally restored. I sprayed starter fluid in the carburetor and it started right up. I took the carburetor off and cleaned it and poured gas in the tank and tried to start it, and it ran for around 30 seconds and then stalled. The spark is weak and will need points and condenser, and probably the carburetor to be rebuilt to get running. I had intentions of restoring this bike but I have too many projects already..kinda a shame. Don't come around these bikes often anymore. This bike is a little rough, but has really good bones. The paint is scratched up, but great for color matching if need be. The rear tire doesn't hold air, but they need replacement anyways. This bike could go either way by leaving it not restored and enjoying it almost immediately, or total restoration. Reserve is set at a fair price, and if it doesn't meet it, I will restore it. I'll let ebay decide its fate. I don't have the title for it, family members couldn't find it. I will issue a bill of sale on it. This bike is sold as is.
