1976 Aston Martin. This is an absolutely rust free and solid California car. Very nice color combination, it comes with an owners handbook and original dealership brochure. It has it's original matching numbers engine. The car also has its original California issued blue license plates, last registered in 1991. The car looks to be accident free and has an older re-paint that looks good but is showing its age in places. The interior was also re-done in the past and looks very nice but is not leather (however, the previous owner kept the old/original leather seat covers and some original carpet in a box in the trunk). The chrome is un-restored and in used condition....some blemishes and bumper dings/dents. The trunk has a matching spare and is dry and also fully rust free. Most lights and gauges work, and the car still has its' factory Blaupunkt stereo setup with stalk mounted radio, turns on but no sound. We had the fuel system flushed, gas tank cleaned and installed a new high volume/pressure fuel pump. The carburators were all cleaned out, rebuilt and balanced/synchronized. The compression with the coil wire disconnected is 120,130,120,125,120,130,120, and 125. The engine revs up good and is smoother at hi rpm, but has a rough idle. It goes through the gears and the brakes work, but has only been driven/tested by us in and around a parking lot. ******NOTE: 1) the emissions equipment is not in stock configuration, and so it will not be able to get by California smog (required for 1976 and newer vehicles). Therefore, unless you are a licensed California dealer, this vehicle is primarily only available for sale to out of California buyers. ***If you are a California buyer and still want to buy the car, you will get documents from us that the car is sold for parts/restoration/junk; when you have completed all requirements to re-register the car in California your new California title will say salvage, please be advised. ******NOTE: 2) zero and/or ebayers with excessive -ve feedback, contact us before bidding with your verifiable contact information.
