Cars2Charities will provide you with all the DMV paperwork that you will need in order to register the vehicle. Cars2Charities will provide all California buyers with either a Smog Certificate at the cost of $58.25 (paid by the buyer) or a "certificate of non-compliance". Smog test will be done after vehicle is sold and determined that California buyer has purchased the vehicle. Please call after you purchase the vehicle to request the smog test be made. This vehicle has passed the CA smog test, CA buyers will receive a smog cert with the purchase of the car. DMV fees, registration fees, transfer fees, late penalties and smog fees are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Payment and Fees: Each vehicle will be charged a $150 buyer fee on top of the winning bid. The deposit is a non refundable. A deposit must be made within 24-48 hours of winning bid. Deposit can be made using Paypal online. The balance of the winning bid and buyer fee will be paid at the time of pick up if you are local. All payments except the deposit will need to be certified funds only. This is: Cash, Cashiers check or money order. Delivery of your purchased vehicle: Vehicles must be picked up within 3 business days of your winning bid. If vehicle is not paid and picked up, a storage fee of $25 per day will be assessed on the purchase. If you are making transport arrangements with Cars 2 Charities, you will not be assessed a storage fee. Please call to make arrangements if you are having difficulty picking up the vehicle.
