1965 mustang coupe straight 6 200cid- lived its whole life on the west coast up until this past year. Interior is all restored or brand new. Green carpet. New black upholstery. Dash pad and dash board stripped and restored in black. All new vintage style Bluetooth capable radio with pioneer speakers in the front kick panels, and Harmon Kardon 6x9 on the new back deck. Restored the gear box shifter. Entire heating components are all brand new, heater core, cables, hoses, motor, etc. New under dash wiring harnesses. New wheel, horn assembly, and wheel wire harness. All the gauges and covers and electronics are new and gauge lights are fitted with brighter LED bulbs. Exterior has 2 coats epoxy primer and two coats flat British racing green. All chrome and beautification parts are brand new. Taillight and headlight components, hardware and wiring harnesses are all new. Brand new rebuilt c4 street strip performance automatic transmission along with brand new torque converter with ring gear. Brand new drive-shaft, yoke and u-joints. Also replaced the rear axle pinion seal and refilled with gear oil. Four brand new 4 lug American Racing wheels and tires. Brand new custom fitted exhaust. Chrome Tri-Y headers. Original rebuilt single barrel carburetor. Chrome air cleaner and chrome valve cover. New radiator and hoses. Trans cooler and lines. New water pump, thermostat, PCV valve, all new vacuum lines. Alternator, starter, battery and battery tray all brand new. New locks and keys. New wiring harness under hood. Valve cover seal is new. Oil pan seal is new and pan cleaned out. New fuel tank, pump; sending kit, and fuel lines. Gas fill pipe, gaskets and wiring. High performance 50,000 volt distributor with built in coil. Includes matching color live wires. Plugs are gap to .050. All front end suspense is new. Professional alignment done on front and back. New hinges all around. Timing is set perfectly. Carburetor perfect. Almost all hardware, seals, gaskets etc throughout have been replaced. Also included is a trunk cover, car cover and huge binder of receipts and documentation of every single part and/or services done. Car will additionally include some extra hardware and spare parts. It drove but needed major restoration. It was my dream since 16 years old to restore a 65 mustang. The history behind them, their appearance, the materials used, the smells, the simplicity of the engines and all other mechanics are amazing. So finally at 26 years old I bought this car last April. There a few minor touch ups that could be done or custom work if u wanted, but this car is ready to go for the most part. I drive it a few times a week, I love it, and always turns heads.. Get a lot of people asking me about the car wherever I go with it. So now I'm selling it to move onto my next projected. It was a great learning experience on my own, made a lot of memory's. Who ever buys it I hope loves and continues to maintain and love it.
