1983 Mustang Gt Convertible 302 with a 5 speed. Engine: F-cam, nice aggressive idle. Edelbrock air gap intake Edelbrock valve covers Edelbrock air cleaner Holley 750 vac. secondary carb. Stock 91 headers 3 inch h-pipe with 40 series flowmasters Underdrive pulleys Transmission: T-5 from a 91 Gt Brand new clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing, and flywheel.(less than 50 miles) Aluminum adjustable cable quadrant Short shifter, tri-ax i believe. Rear end: Stock 7.5 with 3.08 gears. (posi works good) Wheels: Pony wheels painted black The body is stock and in good shape with only minor rust along trunk lid edge. A few dings and the clearcoat is peeling. The Convertible top is less than 6 months old and goes up and down fine. All power windows work, lights work. Speedometer does not work and dash lights do not work, will include new headlight switch which i believe will fix that issue, all other guages work. The car needs a steering column, its drivable like it is but the tilt mechanism was messed up when i got the car. Brakes are good, car drives straight and runs great. Great oil pressure and stays cool no matter how you drive it. It is a driving project that's not perfect but a great platform to improve on. 4 eyes are getting more rare, ive had over 30 mustangs and this is only the third 79 to 86 ive had. I also have a 351 windsor block, crank, pistons, camshaft, exhaust manifolds and misc parts to go with the car if interested. Please don't insult me with a stupid offer, i know these cars and what they are worth in various conditions. this car is driven daily as is.
