Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Here is a Silver 1998 Honda CRV LX – All-wheel drive - that has about 171,600 miles on it. I am the original owner and this car has served us well over the years. Over its life it has been a family hauler, commuter car, drivers-ed car (for my son), and most recently a drive-around town car for the said son. It is still driven daily. Good gas mileage (25mpg). Has been great in rain and snow. Options on these CRVs were very limited. Included in this car are; Automatic transmissionRoof rackIncludes everything else that came standard with the vehicle (floorboard/table, jack, manual, alarm, etc) This car has proven to be very reliable and is very much ‘original’. It has a current NJ inspection sticker. Paint is good, minor flaking on the back door. Black plastic outside trim is fading. The interior of the car is in good condition – no tears, cracks, or tears in the dash or seats. Has always been part of a non-smoking household. The carpeting could use a real good wash – but nothing really objectionable. Recent (all in the past few years) repairs/maintenance includes; New distributor, plugs, ignition wiresNew catalytic converterReplaced battery (this past winter)Good tires (all four tires replaced at around 140,000)Oil change Known issues; Front end is a bit loose – reflecting still has the original strutsPower door locks can sometimes cycle locked/unlocked when drivers side door is lockedClock does not workRadio can be a bit temperamentalA few dings, dents, and scratches (nothing bad – see pictures)Spare tire is very old – would not rely on itThe dashboard light for the emergency brake remains lit (even when disengaged) during cold weather. Must be a sticking switch- no issue in warm weather or when car heats upBeginnings of rusting on some panels (see photos) mainly a few spots on hood and back right quarter panel No one will confuse this car with a new one. But it has been very well maintained, runs strong, burns no oil, and still looks good given its age/mileage.
