Item descriptionThis is a 1971 Volkswagen Super Beetle Convertible with low miles fully restored in 2006. It has been in our family since 1971, but has not been driven as regular transportation for over 20 years. We pull it out for 4th of July parades and occasional spins with the grandkids during the summer. Elderly parents are downsizing and selling stuff. We would like the car to go to an enthusiast who will love it as much as we have. Vehicle restoration was performed by Peter Seabury of Golden Beetle Car Company of Montana, now called Big Sky Beetles. Feel free to call them. Customer name is Cogswell Engine was replaced as part of the restore, and runs very smoothly. See video of the engine running here No rust. Some of the rain seals on the windows need to be re-adhered. Upgraded seat belts were installed as part of the restore.
