This 1994 Ford F150 SVT Lightning is a collector's dream and runs like a scalded dog. Ford only made 1,460 F-150 Lightnings in 1994 and this is one of them. Ford engineers set out to design a vehicle that combined performance and capability - a truck with Mustang like performance and the reliability that F-series trucks were known for. Please check out the accompanying high definition photos. The vehicle looks beautiful and is in very good condition inside and out. It has been well cared for and treated with the respect it deserves. Wherever it goes, it garners admiring looks and comments. You don't see many of these beauties around. It's in classic white and has dual side-mounted exhausts. Even though it has an automatic transmission, this truck lives up to its Lightning name and has the kind of muscular acceleration that will throw you back in the seat. The torque is amazing. The hefty 5.8L 8 cyl. engine performs great. Belts and wiring are in very good condition (see photo). It has a new muffler system and a recently purchased battery. Recently repainted original white color and in very good condition with only a few minor dings (see photo). The chassis and suspension are in good shape (see photo). It comes with the original Lightning logo floor matts, not worn but could use some cleaning. Comes with two new spare headlamps in their boxes. The cargo bed has the scuffs you would expect (see photo) but no significant damage. It was not used for heavy hauling. Cargo light functions when headlamps are turned on. The air conditioner and heater are powerful. Power brakes have excellent stopping power. A power port (cigarette lighter) and ashtray are included. Outside mirrors on both sides are fully adjustable. Has cruise control and overdrive control. Driver and passenger seats are very comfortable and extend above head height. There is also a center jump seat. All seats include belts. Rear window slides open and shut and latches. Electrical connection provided for trailer hookup. I've described the flaws above but will repeat here: Driver side elec. window not working. Driver side seat slides back & forth but seat does not fold down. Very small dent in tail gate (see photo). Small crack bottom rear-left corner (see photo). Driver side door slightly out of line - must slam hard to close. Left side lower running light broken by rock (see photo). Very small ding in windshield. Radio/CD player not working. Interior courtesy light missing lens. No side emblems. Right side glove box hinge loose but closes firmly. Drivers side lower window gasket loose. Some dirt spots on carpet (see photo). Slow oil leak (possibly from block/transmission gasket).Auxiliary rear fuel tank has been removed (main is fine). Some crazing in black left front wheel center. Scuffs in cargo bed consistent with age but no significant damage (see photo). Tires are OK but will need replacing soon.'Check engine' light stuck on yet cause cannot be found despite regular tuneups Purchaser is responsible for pickup in Chattanooga, TN or shipping can be arranged at buyer's expense.
