you are bidding on my 1966 Studebaker Commander 4dr sedan. no a/c, no power steering (the steering ratio makes it easy to steer), and no power brakes. this car is driven very often, with no problems. the engine and transmission have not been rebuilt. the odometer shows just over 83,000 miles. There is no smoke from the engine, and the transmission shifts smoothly. The body and paint work are about 4 years old. there are no leaks in any of the window, door, or trunk seals. the engine is tight, and the only modifications are conversions to a 1 wire alternator, and a HEI distributor. both of these items make the performance better and more reliable. all the glass is good. the interior shows minor wear, and the carpets are good, not worn out. I installed shoulder belts for safety. the steering and front end are tight, and the car does not "wander" when driven at any speed. The dash gauges work, including the fuel gauge. the bumpers are NOS, as are the grill inserts. the brakes are very good, almost new, as are the tires. the wheels are new chrome "smoothies". the exhaust is also almost new, with performance sound mufflers. the floors and trunk are very solid. the car is pretty much rust free. i have included 3 photos that show the only defects i can see on the car. This is a very good driver, and we do use it a lot. I can also offer to deliver the car on my trailer, up to about 750 miles, for a fee. thank you for looking.
