This was a great find for my son ready to turn 16. This vanagon is in wonderful shape for the year. The interior is still wonderful and has no smell to it. I put plugs, wires, distributer, rotor cap, an fuel filter on. Runs great but exhaust needs work, brakes need work, and valve cover gaskets are leaking, which I have and there on there way. Rocker on doors are excellent. Has a locking gas cap. The side door stick at times but there's a trick to opening it. All 7 seat belts work. The title has the actual mileage of 114,930 the van shows 112,398 this quit working on the previous own and he kept track of milege. The speed ometer and clock both work, gas gauge hasn't moved and I put almost 20,00 in it.. Has a kenwood cassette player that is not hooked up, original jack. Windows are all tinted but is peeling in spots. Back gate doesn't stay up unless there's a pole or vise grips.Lights and turn signals all work when tested. My son found something else to buy so I am trying to sell to get back what I have in it for parts, labor and the van itself. I have all receipts for everything I did to it. Very nice vintage vanagon. I feel the van is well worth more than the reserve on it. The roof is more nice than the paint on the sides ans they are still very nice, I did a wash and wax and look how nice it cleaned up. This wouldnt take much to fix totally up. I would suggest to trailor it with the exhaust and brake problem. I have drove to gas station. Thanks
