Vehicle Detail
For Sale a 1970 Dodge Challenger.Has a 440 Motor.I don't see no numbers on motor, but not sure exactly where they are located.Im not a mechanic and don't know much about cars. Was told motor was a 1970 440.I assume the numbers don't match. It has a pistol Grip 4 Speed Tranny.Motor runs great.Car drives good.It got stripped down to metal and needs to be painted, and trim put back on.Everything is here. Not much to do and car will be real nice and worth a lot.Ill put up a lot of pictures that can describe car better than me.If you need any other pictures let me know.Ill try to answer any questions.Ok thanks for looking. On Jul-18-14 at 09:00:02 PDT, seller added the following information: This car doesn't need much at all to finish. There's no rips or cracks in the seats or dash or headliner. In the pictures there's dust on the dash and the trims in the back seat but the interior looks almost brand new when cleaned. Its not faded or anything.Real nice car.All the hard work is done.Only reason I'm selling it is I don't want to see it just sit around.Deserves a good home to someone who's gonna finish it right. On Jul-19-14 at 04:45:34 PDT, seller added the following information: Does any one know how to change my main picture or delete and add new picture? Thanks Car is all here you don't need to buy nothing.Inside looks brand new just little dusty.Outside stripped down to metal almost no rust anywhere at all.All I can find a little bit by corner window about inch in size.Real solid car.Car just needs a good paint job and will be worth a lot.I just don't know any good painters and want car to get done right.Cars been sitting for while and hate to see it just sit there. On Jul-20-14 at 18:49:28 PDT, seller added the following information: This is a 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A Pistol Grip 4 Speed With A Six Pack. This car originally came with a 340 but now has a 1970 440 motor in it now.The 4 speed is original.I think I can get the original block that is numbers matching. If winning buyer want this Ill throw it in for free.Im sorry I wasn't trying to not be honest about car I didn't know it came with a 340.I had someone help me and they figured out what it came with originally for me.Im not a mechanic or into cars really so I don't know much about these old cars.Im learning a lot from selling this one.I have another old 4 Speed car I'm thinking about selling next if anyone is interested. It needs a lot if work though. So just wanted let everyone know this is T/A not R/T sorry if any misunderstandings.Still real nice car.Looks better in person I should of but didn't even wipe down car.Its been sitting for years. But I did pay someone to take care of it and he pulled the plugs and put some kind of oil or something through or in it.I forget exactly what all he did and can't reach him right now he's up north working on pipe line and no phone service. But he maintained it for me every year so I wouldn't have any problems starting it every year.He went through motor for me and interior but interior didn't need nothing it looked perfect. He got a real good job out of town and hasn't had time to finish it.So I figured if I get the right price I'll sell it as is so someone else can enjoy it rather than it just sit there. If not he said hopefully next summer he can finish it.But then if I sell it the price will be a lot higher. Thanks RichardOn Jul-22-14 at 20:58:20 PDT, seller added the following information: I'm gonna just take the reserve off I guess.I wasn't sure if I really wanted to sell the car now or if I was gonna keep it and try to find someone who could finish it right and then sell it for more.I don't want to see it just sit here forever I'd rather let someone else finish it up.I think whoever wins this car is getting a good deal. This is a real solid car and it won't take a lot to finish it and then it will be worth a lot more.Ok thanks for looking and all the information I got.I learned a lot more about this car. On Jul-22-14 at 21:37:24 PDT, seller added the following information: I took reserve off so high bidder will win car.I hope someone finishs car up and enjoys it.Send me picture when you are done if you get a chance.Ok thanks again Good Luck Richard
