1979 930 (USA model). VIN: 9309800463. This is a very nice car. I have every document, repair order, modification listing etc. The car has tools, books, spare, jack, compressor and original window sticker (see pic). It was sold new in Seattle WA at University Porsche. Car is "color to sample" and is a metallic medium gray; sort of a cross between granite and titanium gray.The car has various period (re 1989) performance parts and modifications from Andial and Ruf...particularly a 3.5 liter motor and Ruf 5 speed all done in 1989 with a total bill of $41834.76 (have all work orders and receipts). Motor ran over $19k and the Ruf gearbox part alone was over $11k. Here is a general list:-3.5L (Mahle), Group B cams, late model tensioners, 90amp alternator, balancing etc.-Andial intercooler-Andial fuel enrichment-K27 turbo-Euro exhaust (and heat exchangers)...no thermal reactors or catalyst. Has stock wastegate (1 bar spring) and wg muffler.-Ruf 5 speed (dog-leg first) and clutch assy.-Ruf Speedline wheels 9" front and 10" rear. Recent Michelin Pilot Sports.-Ruf steering wheel...period correct one, not the later ones available today. It has the 350mm diameter w/ the 33mm grip.Car is extremely straight, not hit or repaired. Paint is very nice...but does have some rock chips, small scratches, and imperfections particularly on the leading edges of the front mounted oil cooler valance and the rear (front facing) portion of the rocker panels . No rust or corrosion. Floor pans are very straight. There are 100,340 miles on the car. No smoke, dry and clean. Car runs and drives very well...solid and well balanced. The motor has a nice power curve, not flat off the bottom, peaky or all top end...very useable and linear. There is a period built in radar and stereo system. Equipment is NOT permanently affixed...it call all be lifted out and removed. It was made into a 3.5L displacement vs. the original which was 3.3L...this does not change the case / crank / bottom end; just pistons and cylinders. Also, the gearbox is GENUINE Ruf...it is 930-52-181.
