1997 dodge ram 2500.. truck is in good running condition and can be driven anywhere with no worries. here are the issues- a little slop in the front end, could be steering box, everything seems tight so that's all I can think it might be. I replaced the upper and lower ball joints within the last 2000 miles. front brakes have a little pulse and need to be turned at some point. I replaced the rotors and pads when I did the ball joints but I pulled a trailer with bad brakes and heated them up. the fuel shut off either has a bad connection or needs replacing, works intermittently. truck will not die once started but occasionally the rod needs to be pushed up manually to start. the ac needs to be charged.. compressor will not actuate, it was working recently and does not appear frozen. there are a few drips of oil here and there which seem to be coming from the pan gasket but nothing major. the body is in good condition and the interior is decent as well. the truck has a little headliner separation near the windshield and the drivers seat has the usual tear on the edge from getting in and out, there are paint chips here and there, surface rust in a few small areas and clear coat is pealing a bit on the hood. transmission does not slip and engine runs smoothly. tires are about 70% and have plenty of life in them. has class 5 receiver hitch and nice spray in bed liner, rear slider window and cd player with aux. the truck is safe to drive anywhere, just drove 300 miles on a camping trip with no trouble. gets 20-25 mpg highway with a light load. if you have any questions let me know and I will respond asap.
